Emanuele, Paola and Lucia de Ferrari, with all their family and staff of the Farmhouse “Dogana” welcome the guests, with a special greeting for all the children!
The Agritouristic and Bio Centre “La Dogana”. The estate is ca. 50 ha large and extends itself all around the historical XVIth century building that once was the Papal custom-house, and used to be a favourite stop for those coming from the Grand Duchy of Tuscany and Rome. It gave hospitality to Michelangelo, Ghoethe, Byron, Stendhal. Recently, the ancient farmhouses surroundings, it have been restored and transformed into small nicely furnished apartments, with a beautiful view on the Lake Trasimeno.
